Two-factor authentication (2FA)
2FA asks for a code from an authenticator app when you sign in. We recommend it for everyone, especially team owners.
Enable
- Settings → Two-factor authentication → Turn on.
- Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, 1Password or similar (or copy the key).
- Enter the App code → Turn on.
- Save the Recovery codes — they're shown only once — and click I’ve saved the codes.
Extra options
- Code when opening GetAntik — the app stays locked until you enter a code.
- Code when launching a profile — a code is required before each launch.
Disable
Turn off and enter a code. Turning off 2FA also turns off both extra toggles.
Possible errors
The code didn't work. Check the time on your phone and try again.
Why: Your phone's clock is out of sync with the real time, or the code has expired.
What to do: Turn on automatic time on your phone and enter a new code.
Two-factor authentication is already on.
Why: 2FA is already set up.
What to do: —
Request a QR code first.
Why: A code was entered before setup started.
What to do: Click Turn on and scan the QR code.
