How the fingerprint works
A fingerprint is a set of traits websites use to recognize a device. In GetAntik it's defined by the profile's seed: one seed gives the same fingerprint on any computer.
What's spoofed
- WebGL and GPU — the graphics card model and rendering result
- AudioContext — the audio fingerprint
- Fonts — the set of installed fonts
- ClientRects — the sizes of elements on the page
- Canvas — noise in the canvas image (off by default)
Why canvas is off
Checkers like pixelscan detect a spoofed canvas and treat it as a sign of an antidetect browser. The other traits provide enough uniqueness.
New fingerprint
The New fingerprint button in the Hardware and spoofing section changes the seed. For several profiles — More → Regenerate. Websites where the profile is already signed in will see a “new device”.
Consistency
The fingerprint must match the proxy: time zone, language and geolocation — the IP's country; the system — your computer. This is what the Profile health check verifies.
