Proxies and geolocation
Websites compare your IP with the browser's time zone, language and geolocation. A German IP with a Moscow time zone looks suspicious.
“By IP” mode
In the Language and time section, choose By IP for the time zone, languages and geolocation. On every launch, GetAntik detects the proxy's country and city and fills in matching values.
Without a proxy
The values come from the computer's real IP. If the IP can't be detected, the time zone and language will be the system ones — the health check will warn “Couldn't detect your IP”.
Manually
Manual values only make sense if the proxy is always in the same country. The health check will show if they don't match the IP.
Possible errors
Couldn't detect your IP
Why: There's no proxy, and the IP check service is unavailable.
What to do: Check your internet connection. The system time zone and language will be used.
the IP check service returned an unexpected response
Why: A temporary glitch in the IP check service.
What to do: Run the check again in a minute.
